POWER IS NOTHING WITHOUT CONTROL Airfield Driver Training Days Our most popular 2 or 4 person days (run about 180 days a year) operate in the safe environment of North Weald Airfield, Essex. Your instructor, Andrew Walsh, will ensure the day is bespoke to your needs, using exercises that lend themselves to a variety of techniques. For example, on the high speed bend you may experience understeer and oversteer and learn how to correct them, improve your steering, learn balanced and trailing throttle, left foot braking, heel and toe and even how to control the rotation of your car and get it back inline from 90 degrees! We use a circuit around soft cones in the afternoon to put your new techniques into practise and learn even more. To learn more, book or view available dates, please click here. Please note - all our courses are for performance sports cars and are not suitable for high sided vehicles, 4x4s or MPVs. One-to-One Tuition If you’d rather a more personal service, this course at North Weald runs from 4pm, consisting of 2 hours intensive instruction for one driver. (Only available when there’s daylight until 6pm). This is entirely bespoke, focussing upon what you need, be it perfecting a technique, improving on a circuit of your design, learning new techniques or just testing and setting up your car. This adrenaline filled event gets you a half day driving a variety of cars and learning some handling techniques, discovering j turns and handbrake turns and enjoying laps of our circuit. For more information visit our shop Circuit Driver Training Days If you fancy some tuition on a circuit, this is for you. These days allow you to learn how to pick markers on the circuit for braking, turning in points, apex and exit. You will then be taught to use the car to the potential of the circuit using the fundamental techniques used in the airfield days. Activity Days Have fun in your car, increase your driving ability and confidence, meet new faces and try some of the exercises experienced on an Airfield Driver Training Day at a cost of less than £39 per car.
